Notice on Changes in Organization and Directors’ Duties as of July 16
JVC KENWOOD Corporation (JVC KENWOOD) hereby announces that it will change the organization and the appointed duties of Directors effective July 16, 2012 as follows.
1. Organizational Changes
After the management integration between the former Victor Company of Japan, Limited and former Kenwood Corporation in October 2008, the JVC KENWOOD Group had promoted the integration of both companies’ common functions and the merger of functional subsidiaries. In October 2011, the said two companies and the holding company merged, starting group management as an integrated corporation.
From now on, the Group will establish the Overseas Reorganization Promotion Section directly under the control of CEO to accelerate the reorganization of overseas sales subsidiaries, now operated under the control of each former operating company, from a company-wide point of view. At the same time, it will transfer to the new organization the functions of the Overseas Marketing Section, which is currently under the umbrella of the Strategic Marketing Planning Division.
