♦ Exhibition of new 2014 professional video system and video production equipment

1. HD Memory Card Camera Recorders GY-HM850U / GY-HM890U

These lens-exchangeable compact shoulder mount HD memory card camera recorders feature a newly developed FUJINON 20x zoom lens with built-in autofocus and image stabilization. They support live streaming, file transfer and Web remote control over high-speed mobile communication network services. Moreover, GY-HM890U can be used with optional accessories to create a studio configuration, and is equipped with HD-SDI input to allow recording from an external signal feed. A studio configuration using GY-HM890U in a fiber system and a multi-core system will be displayed at the booth and proposed as a solution for broadcasting stations.

2. [New Product] Professional Blu-ray Disc & HDD Recorders SR-HD1350US / SR-HD1700US

These newest product releases in professional BD/DVD recorders are capable of recording directly to either Blu-ray Disc or DVD from a live signal. Since DVD-Video and BDMV format recording is supported, they offer greatly expanded playback compatibility with ordinary DVD/BD players.

3. [Upgraded Firmware Version] HD Memory Card Camera Recorders GY-HM600U / GY-HM650U

With this newest firmware upgrade to Ver3.0, the “live streaming” that was originally achieved with our GY-HM850U/GY-HM890U is now augmented with a “transmission error correction function” (on GY-HM650U), as well as a “50Mbps High Quality Recording Mode” that affords the superior compression efficiency of the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec. A demonstration of live streaming, and a solution for news applications using a cloud server, will be shown.

♦ Proposal for new 4K-compatible camera system

1. [Reference Exhibit] 4K mini camera system

A 4K mini camera system equipped with a 4Ksuper35mm image sensor, newly adopted flexible interchangeable Micro Four Thirds (MFT) Mount* camera head, and built-in large-screen monitor, will be exhibited. Moreover, our originally developed “Gimbal System” application, which combines image stabilization essential for usage such as aerial shots, will also be exhibited. This proposal will provide a new solution to expand the shooting field of the 4K camera system.

2. [Reference Exhibit] Interchangeable 4K compact handheld camera recorder

A “4K compact handheld camera recorder” will be on exhibit, featuring a 4K Super35mm image sensor, and MFT* Mount to flexibly accept a wide range of interchangeable lenses.

3. [Reference Exhibit] Interchangeable 4K shoulder mount camera recorder

A “4K shoulder mount camera recorder” will be on exhibit, featuring a 4K Super35mm image sensor, and PL Mount for interchangeable lenses.
