JVCKENWOOD will deliver a video recording solution comprising our GY-LS300CHE 4K memory card camera recorder featuring the Super35mm image sensor and SHOGUN INFERNO and NINJA INFERNO recorders with a built-in monitor from ATOMOS Co., Ltd. 5. 360-degree video recording solution for VR video creation and live streaming developed in collaboration with US-based RTI

JVCKENWOOD will offer a reference exhibit, in collaboration with Realtime Immersion Inc. (RTI) in the U.S., of a prototype system enabling 360-degree VR video recording, using a 360-degree shooting camera system featuring the Super35mm image sensor, VR head-mounted display, and dedicated VR apps. We will deliver 360-degree video shooting and live video streaming solutions for professional broadcast users.
The 360-degree camera system supports 3Kx3K square resolution, which is optimal for shooting 360-degree VR live streaming videos of sports, entertainment, and news events. By combining an optical system in the single-camera framework developed exclusively by RTI, the camera system can deliver high image quality and seamless videos. In addition, using a compound eye camera eliminates the need for video-stitching software, enabling the lowest latency on video streaming. Our exhibits will also include apps that enable 360-degree live video streaming for mobile devices and a VR head-mounted display that is compatible with 360-degree video content.
