JVCKENWOOD Wins the Commendation Award in the
Daiwa IR’s Internet IR Award 2021 for the Third Consecutive Year
Yokohama, December 22, 2021—JVCKENWOOD Corporation (“JVCKENWOOD”) has won the Commendation Award in the Internet IR Award 2021 selected by Daiwa Investor Relations Co. Ltd. (“Daiwa IR”) for the third consecutive year.
The Internet IR Award is based on the concept of “5T&C,”* which positions the Internet as an integral element of corporate investor relations programs. 3,944 listed companies as of June 1, 2021 were surveyed and evaluated for their shareholder/investor websites using the Daiwa IR's own criteria. For 2021, 126 companies out of 3,944 listed companies were selected for the awards (9 Grand Prizes, 14 Excellence Awards and 103 Commendation Awards).
In formulating the 2021 evaluation criteria, the scoring items were reviewed in consideration of the requirement to expand disclosure of ESG information in the revised Japan’s Corporate Governance Code and the forthcoming market restructuring of the stock exchange. Under such circumstances, JVCKENWOOD continued to meet the evaluation criteria set by Daiwa IR in 2021 for the third consecutive year following on from 2019 and 2020, and received the Commendation Award, in which companies with an overall score of 70 points or higher are selected as candidates.
JVCKENWOOD will continue to work to deepen the understanding of its shareholders and investors through the further enhancement of corporate information, including IR information on the company website, and appropriate information disclosure.
