the National Police of Ukraine Through

JVCKENWOOD Corporation (JVCKENWOOD) hereby announces that its professional digital radio systems have been delivered to the National Police of Ukraine and installed through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
■ Background for the Delivery of Professional Digital Radio Systems
Since the outbreak of conflict in eastern Ukraine in 2014, the Japanese government has been providing various forms of support to Ukrainians suffering from the crisis through international organizations. This announcement is part of that effort. The professional digital radio systems that have been delivered will be deployed in Sumy Oblast, which is located along the eastern border of Ukraine. These radio systems will enable highly secure communications compared to the analog radio systems that were previously used.
