Selected as a constituent of the ESG index "FTSE Blossom Japan Index"

JVCKENWOOD was selected as a constituent of FTSE Blossom Japan Index, an index targeting Japanese companies that are making excellent responses to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

The Index focuses on initiatives and governance related to climate change in sectors with high greenhouse gas emissions.

Listed on SOMPO Sustainability Index for the first time

In 2025, JVCKENWOOD was listed on Sompo Asset Management Co., Ltd.'s SOMPO Sustainability Index for the first time.

The Index includes around 300 stocks demonstrating excellence in ESG (environment, society, and governance), and is used in building SOMPO's Sustainable Investment portfolio. Sustainable Investment is an investment product aimed at pension funds and institutional investors, and is managed oriented toward long-term investment based on the Index by investing in a wide range of companies with high ESG ratings. The constituent stocks are revised based on annual ESG rating results*. JVCKENWOOD was selected in 2025 based on the evaluation given to our ESG initiatives.

Rated 4 stars in the "Nikkei Sustainability Comprehensive Survey — SDGs Management Edition"

JVCKENWOOD received a rating of 4 stars (4 stars in the previous year), a higher rating than the previous year, in the "Nikkei Sustainability Comprehensive Survey — SDGs Management Edition" conducted by Nikkei Inc.

 

This survey has been conducted by Nikkei Inc. targeting listed and leading unlisted companies in Japan. It comprehensively rates companies in the four areas of SDG strategy and economic value, social value, environmental value, and governance and defines SDGs management as initiatives to contribute to the SDGs through business and to enhance corporate value.

Rated 3.5 stars in the "Nikkei Sustainability Comprehensive Survey — Smart Work Management Edition"

JVCKENWOOD received a rating of 3.5 stars (3.5 stars in the previous year), a higher rating than the previous year, in the "Nikkei Sustainability Comprehensive Survey — Smart Work Management Edition" conducted by Nikkei Inc.

 

This survey is conducted by Nikkei Inc., targeting listed and leading unlisted companies in Japan. It defines and assesses "smart work management" as management strategies to create new innovation, enhance productivity, and maximize corporate value, by maximizing the utilization of human resources through measures such as enhancing employee well-being, and accelerating investment in human resources.

Recognized on CDP’s Climate Change A List

JVCKENWOOD has been recognized for the first time on CDP’s Climate Change A List, the highest rating in the 2025 climate change assessment conducted by CDP, a global non-profit organization operating an international environmental disclosure system.
CDP is a global non-profit that runs world's only independent the environmental disclosure system for companies, capital markets, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts, rating corporate initiatives on an eight-point scale (A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-).

JVCKENWOOD Wins Daiwa IR's Internet IR Awards 2025, celebrating third straight Excellence Award and first Sustainability Excellence Award

JVCKENWOOD has won the Excellence Award in the Internet IR Award 2025 selected by Daiwa Investor Relations Co. Ltd. for the third consecutive year.

The Internet IR Award is based on the Daiwa IR’s concept of "5T&C,"* which positions the Internet as an integral element of corporate investor relations programs. Under this framework, the award scores and evaluates IR websites of listed companies using unique criteria. It recognizes companies that have developed particularly outstanding IR websites and have effectively utilized them for information disclosure and communication activities. For 2025, 158 companies out of 4,122 listed companies were selected for the awards (8 Grand Prizes, 19 Excellence Awards and 131 Commendation Awards).

In the sustainability category, the sustainability websites of 158 companies that received the Daiwa Internet IR Awards 2025 were evaluated across 6 key areas: the top page, general policy, the environment, society, governance, and support. 24 companies were selected for recognition in this category, including 3 that received the Grand Prize and 21 that received the Excellence Award. JVCKENWOOD was among them, earning its first Sustainability Excellence Award.


Certified as “White 500” excellent company under the “2025 Health and Productivity Management Award”

JVCKENWOOD has been certified as an outstanding health management corporation for eight consecutive years since 2018 as a corporation that considers employee health management from a managerial point of view and is strategically engaged in it.

 

Obtained the highest rank of “Eruboshi” certification under the Act on the Promotion of Female Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace

JVCKENWOOD was awarded “Eruboshi,” the highest rating of Three-stars certification under the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace.

Received the highest ranking “Gold” in the PRIDE Index, an evaluation index for initiatives related to LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities

JVCKENWOOD has been awarded the highest Gold rating for eight consective years in the PRIDE Index operated by a nonprofit voluntary group called “work with Pride (wwP)” to evaluate corporate efforts to support inclusiveness for LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities.

Received Class-AAA rating in Yokohama Health Management Certification 2024

JVCKENWOOD Engineering Corporation received the Class-AAA rating (Certified period: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026) in Yokohama Health Management Certification 2024 from the City of Yokohama in recognition of the company’s system to promote health management and its efforts to identify health issues of employees and take initiatives for such issues.

Certified as “Sports Yell Company 2026 (Bronze)” by the Japan Sports Agency

JVCKENWOOD has been certified as a "Sports Yell Company" by the Japan Sports Agency as a company for five consecutive years since 2022 that actively engages in sports activities to promote employee health.

Passed the renewal review for the Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience (Resilience Certification)

JVCKENWOOD acquired the Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience (Resilience Certification) administered by the Association for Resilience Japan based on the Guideline for Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience in March 2017, and subsequently passed the renewal review in March 2025.
