Giving Lessons at Yokohama Municipal Higashi High School

JVCKENWOOD delivered lessons at Yokohama Municipal Higashi High School ("Yokohama Municipal Higashi High School Premium Program") in December 2023. In these lessons, we gave presentations on social contribution and sustainability to first and second year high school students.
This was our fifth time delivering these lessons, which we have continuously done from the perspective of regional co-creation.

We gave two presentations, each lasting 30 minutes, with approximately 15 students attending each presentation. These presentations focused on how our Communications Systems Business is contributing to the achievement of a sustainable society, based on our corporate philosophy, "Creating excitement and peace of mind for the people of the world." We not only explained the link between business and sustainability in words, but also had students gain hands-on experience by taking actual professional radio systems and license-free transceivers. In this way, we gained their understanding about how we are contributing to "creating safe and secure communities," one of our sub-material issues.
Going forward, JVCKENWOOD will continue promoting sustainability activities, while also actively supporting the development of the children who will lead the future.
