The JVCKENWOOD Group supports the growth of children who will play key roles in the future and fosters the next generation of citizens for sustainable social development by offering classes and opportunities to young people, and improving elementary school facilities. We will continue our diverse community activities to co-create value that can be passed on to the next generation.
JVCKENWOOD delivered lessons at Yokohama Municipal Higashi High School ("Yokohama Municipal Higashi High School Premium Program") in December 2024. In these lessons, we gave presentations on social contribution and sustainability to first and second year high school students.
This was our sixth time delivering these lessons, which we have continuously done from the perspective of regional co-creation.
We gave two presentations, each lasting 30 minutes, with approximately 15 students attending each presentation. These presentations looked at the example of smart forestry using our communications systems to show how we are contributing to the achievement of a sustainable society, based on our corporate philosophy, "Creating excitement and peace of mind for the people of the world." We not only explained the link between business and sustainability in words, but also had students gain hands-on experience by taking in actual professional radio systems, tablets, and smartphones. In this way, we gained their understanding about how our communications systems play a role in protecting Japan's greenery.
Going forward, JVCKENWOOD will continue promoting sustainability activities, while also actively supporting the development of the children who will lead the future.

Office tours were also held for students who requested them.
