In particular, various patents related to image coding are the core of the Group’s intellectual property revenues. Technology in the visual domain is evolving toward AI-based image recognition and sensing technology. By combining high-definition image processing and real-time analysis, their utilization has advanced in various sectors, including security and mobility. For example, image analysis by in-vehicle cameras is an essential factor in driving support and achieving automated driving.
