JVC KENWOOD Holdings, Inc. (JVC Kenwood) hereby announces an organizational change and a personnel change effective February 1, 2011 as follows.

1. Major Organization Change

To expand and enhance the LCOS* business, JVC Kenwood will establish the LCOS Operation under the umbrella of the Strategic Research & Development Division. In addition, it will consolidate LCOS-related divisions, which have been dispersed among such divisions as the Strategic Research & Development Division of JVC Kenwood, the Projector Operation and the Business Solution Division of Victor Company of Japan, Limited (JVC), a subsidiary of JVC Kenwood, in this newly established Operation.

* Shortened form of “Liquid Crystal On Silicon,” this abbreviation refers to a reflecting liquid crystal panel. The LCOS developed by JVC is called “D-ILA.”
